Hi, our names are Kara and Jenny ! We are fundraising to help our beloved friend/housekeeper Berta. She was just diagnosed with kidney cancer and is taking medicines/seeking care until January to see if it improves without chemo or surgery. She’s having to miss a lot of work for doctor's appointments. Our goal is to help Berta rest as long as she needs without the added worry of paying her bills/rent. Berta has a heart of gold and has lived a very hard life, yet we’ve never heard her complain. She’s a mother to 5 daughters (one of which was kidnapped and murdered in Mexico :( under horrible circumstances). She has 11 grandkids and does everything she can for all of them. She is the strongest woman we know and deserves the world. We would love to help take away some of her worries and fear. Big or small contributions go a long way and are greatly appreciated.
