Bert and his wife, Bea, need a vehicle so they can find a new place to live. First of all, Bert is in end stage renal failure and needs a new kidney and one of the criteria to get on the transplant list is to have a car. Also the place where they live is trying to evict them so they must find a new place for themselves and their cats as soon as possible. Bea is still trying to find a job but due to the times has so far been unsuccessful...she will keep on  trying. They both would be willing to work in exchange for room and board.
