Hey all, we’re starting this thing to help raise money for the fight Bernardo Quintero’s about to undertake. For those of you who do and don’t know him, Bernie isn’t the kind that asks for help, he’s the kind that is always trying to help everyone else. He’s been an active member in the community, constantly bringing food from the restaurant he owns to the local fire department that his son also works at. On numerous occasions he has fed local firefighters, never asking or even accepting money, whether they’re at an incident that has taken all day to resolve, the stations, and while his local agency was doing new hire assessments that didn’t give them any opportunity for lunch, he created those opportunities. He is the Patriarch of his family, never giving anyone under his lead any opportunity for anyone to ever need anything. He has always worked to make sure they were all provided for and taken care of. Now it’s our turn to take care of him, so we’re asking for you to donate to help raise money to help Bernie’s pay the medical expenses he is about to have because of the needed treatments his Doctor has informed him of. We’ve set the starting goal at $10k, which in comparison to the expenses he will face, is just a drop in the bucket. Any amount you are able to donate to help him will be immensely appreciated by him and his entire family as they have all remained close as everyone’s grown older, and have stood by him every step of the way over the last couple years.
