In 2017 Bernie was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome(MDS) a blood  cancer. Bernie has been going through treatments of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. Her dear brother was a perfect match and her donor. As you can imagine, Bernie will remain in the hospital until her immune system is stronger. After she goes home, there will still be many more months of healing she will need to do. We are reaching out to her family, friends and old co-workers to see if you can help? I know times are difficult for everyone amidst this pandemic, but we hope you can help our Bernie out. All donations will go towards any hospital bills, medication and financial assistance Bernie will need.
