This is Bernie! He is 5 years old, born in Kent, WA, lived a glamorous life at Neko Cat Cafe in Bellingham WA, and is now living in the Bay Area. Bernie is the most friendly, playful, and loving cat I have ever seen in my life. He is my best friend and he is unfortunately having some health issues.

Bernie has two bladder stones that are causing him pain, and requiring him to have a Cystomy. He has a wonderful vet, and was quoted around $3,400 minimum, to $5000 maximum for surgery.

I unfortunately cannot afford all of this at this time, but I want to provide him care as soon as I can, he has sadly been urinating a tiny bit of blood for a few weeks now, and with many vet visits, prescription food, and medication surgery is his best bet to alleviate his pain.
