We are Venice East Golf Association and friends of Bernie Kalka , a part-time employee, who recently lost her car. While shopping in CVS, her car was hit and totaled by a driver with a suspended driver's license. She is now having to fight with the driver's insurance company to settle her claim. With the high value of used cars currently and the low value of her totaled car, she will not receive enough money to purchase a reliable car.

Bernie receives a small disability monthly check but has very limited funds and is unable to work a full-time job due to multiple health issues. Despite Bernie's hardships, she is a very giving person who is always there for a friend in need by providing rides to appointments, running errands, providing help around the home, and just being a good friend. We would like to return her generosity by giving her a hand up and would like your support if possible.
