Help Bernie Beat Hodgkin's Lymphoma

In August 2018, Bernie went to the doctor after dealing with pain in his chest for a few weeks. He got the type of news that no one should get and that no one ever really thinks they will get: he has cancer, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
At this point, Bernie began chemo treatments a few weeks ago, and we know it is going to be a long and expensive road. The purpose of this Go Fund Me page is to provide financial help to Bernie and his family. The people who have put this together are several of his longtime friends for over 20 years.
If you know Bernie well, we have no doubt that he is one of your favorite people. Bernie is very kind hearted and is always there if you ever needed him - deeply loyal to his friends and family. He grew up playing soccer – his favorite sport and traveled around the US with his team.
And most importantly, he is a loving father to two boys (8 years-old Ryan and 6 years-old Alex) and a devoted husband to Jennifer, another person many of you likely hold equally dear to your hearts. Once the two children were born, Jennifer pursued a massage therapy profession that gave her the flexibility to raise her boys. Bernie is the financial provider for their family and has been going through many weeks of medical treatments since the Lymphoma was diagnosed.
During this time, we want Bernie and Jennifer to be able to focus on his health and their family, without the additional stress of worrying about money while Bernie is not working. Our goal is to raise enough money so that they can devote the next year exclusively to Bernie’s recovery.
