First we want to say how extremely fortunate we feel to have been spared any damage from Hurricane Milton. We have so much to be thankful for.

Unfortunately, as you all know, many were not spared. Some lost lives. Many lost homes. Most suffered some type of great loss.

One family that suffered a great loss is someone we know you have heard us speak about. Our very dear friends in Florida, Bernhard & Lori had a very large oak tree come down on top of their house at 1am during the height of the hurricane.

What a horrific feeling that must have been.

The tree demolished a large section of their home. The total extent of the damage has not yet been declared.

They do have insurance, but they have a $5,000 deductible.

Bernhard & Lori make their living as real estate agents.

As we all know, real estate sales in Florida have dropped dramatically in the last year, not to mention now, since the hurricane.
