Help Bernadine reestablish stability for her & her children.

Hello My name is Bernadine Williamson. Thanks to your incredible support, we have reached our original goal and secured an apartment. Now, I'm seeking assistance to help with paying the rent of $50/month for a couple of months until I can find employment. Also I’m hoping to find and purchase a reliable compact car to help us manage our daily needs. The extreme heat and long distances in our new area make having a car essential. What would be a short drive turns into a long, exhausting walk, especially with two small children. My daughter’s school doesn’t have transportation options, and the cost of Ubers and Lyfts for a daily commute is adding up quickly. Additionally, having a car would make trips to doctor appointments and grocery shopping much easier.

Here’s a bit of our journey: After enduring years of domestic violence, I fled from Pittsburgh to safety out of state with my two young children, ages 7 and 1. We arrived in our new state with just one suitcase of clothes. We’re now moving into a new home in just a week, and despite the challenges, we’ve been blessed with this fresh start. We drove 22 hours with only a full tank of gas and $17, but after just two weeks, our car broke down and I had to let it go. This has been a difficult time, but we are hopeful and trusting in God's guidance.
