The angel you see in the cover photo is none other than my dearest friend Berlin! They’re a 20 year old undergrad student at Rutgers University New Brunswick, and also most likely the hardest working person you’ll ever have the pleasure of interacting with. Within the last year, Berlin has faced extreme financial struggles when it comes to paying for their education, and we have tried everything to get them in a good position to continue their education. Despite all the effort, it’s at a point now where Berlins future academic career, and future as a Rutgers student, is in serious jeopardy. This is despite Berlin working 24/7, taking out multiple loans, etc. As hard as they try, it is extremely difficult in this modern day and age to fund an out of state education, which is why their friends and fellow students are now calling on whoever is reading this to help. You may not know Berlin, but I do! In the time I’ve been honored to spend as one of Berlin’s many friends, I’ve learned a few things. For starters, Berlin is the most giving, kind, hardworking soul I’ve ever encountered. One thing I’ve especially come to know is that they NEVER ask for help, despite helping everyone else around them 24/7. If you’re lucky enough to know Berlin, and even if you don’t, I implore you to help out this intelligent, more than worthy, amazing human being who for once, needs some assistance. Anything you can spare, even if it’s a dollar, would be greatly appreciated!
