Hello Everyone. This has been extremely difficult for me to write or share about. We are not the type of family to air our business on any type of platform or social media BUT abuse should NOT be silenced.
My 3 year old Grandson was severely abused while in his fathers home. He is currently in a Children’s hospital. In the state of California, custody is not a given, it has to be established so either parent can take a child from the other parent and no agency will intervene unless you have gone to court.
There were repeated attempts to save my Grandson before this tragedy occurred. Multiple calls to the local police as well as CPS as there had been rising suspicions that something was not right. These agencies refused to intervene until the last call that was made to the police resulted in my Grandson finally be taken as he wore the proof on his face.
He was given to CPS who took him to the Children’s hospital to be assessed. During this assessment, he received an MRI which showed 2 skull fractures, a brain bleed, 2 black eyes, a fractured eye socket which may result in plastic surgery, a fractured shoulder, fractured spine and bruises and scratches covering the majority of his body.
We were told today that this abuse warrants criminal charges and a court date has been set for next Tuesday, the 14th of September. His father took him during a weekend visitation and never returned him to his mother. We have been fighting since.
This needs to be made public. Abuse of any kind should not be tolerated. I will make this be heard. We will fight until my Grandson receives justice.
I have some money but I cannot afford all the attorney fees to help my daughter who is a single mother of 3 children. Please help me raise the money for my daughter to save Nixon. To get his medical needs covered as well as therapy and an attorney to ensure this child is never returned to an abusive environment again. All the funds raised will be used towards Nixon’s needs and for attorney fees.
We have found an attorney that will take our case and is confident we can get Nixon returned to his Mother. Her fee to take the case is $10,000.
We just want Nixon home with his family who loves him and can care for him.
