My dear friend needs help. Here is her story.
Over the past 5 months, she has undergone numerous examinations at oncology centers, had three biopsies and cytology, which were checked in three independent laboratories. Unfortunately, the doctors gave her a preliminary diagnosis of ductal carcinoma of the breast (cancer). The size of the lesion is 6 cm, BI-RADS 4 according to the results of MRI and mammography.
The medical council recommends a bilateral mastectomy as soon as possible. Due to the lengthy diagnostic process, there is no time to wait.
During these months of medical examination, all personal savings were spent. The cost of the operation alone currently fluctuates around $7,000 (not counting additional costs) and further treatment. This will be known after the surgical intervention. Currently, she doesn't have the opportunity to pay for the surgery on her own, so I am asking for help.
