Help Beowoof Kick Cancer's Butt!
Beowoof is an 8-year-old Therapy Dog who has brought a lot of joy to people in need. He means more than anything to Samantha and has been by her side for some tough times over the years, but he was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma after we found a swollen lump on his right front leg.
After visiting the University of Illinois veterinarian hospital and discussing our different options, we have decided to try a non-invasive radiation treatment paired with a bone-strengthening medication (meant to reduce pain and prevent possible fractures of the leg). His prognosis is good but unfortunately due to his size, each monthly dose of the strengthening meds costs around $500, on top of monthly x-rays to monitor any possible spreading of the cancer, other medications and supplements, and possibly chemotherapy if the radiation treatment doesn't help.
We are going to try our hardest to keep him happy and healthy for as long as possible and any help is greatly appreciated. You can also call the University of Illinois Small Animal Clinic if you prefer to put funds directly towards Beowoof's treatment (account under "Samantha Lynn").
Beowoof is lucky to have all of you supporting him and cheering him on. We love you!
