A week and a half ago, my dog Bentley suddenly became very lethargic and lost his usual energy. At first, I hoped he would bounce back, but after a couple of days, he started having trouble using his back legs. That’s when I knew something was really wrong. We rushed to the vet early in the morning, and Bentley was diagnosed with IVDD. The vet explained that one of his discs was out of place, causing his bones to grind together and making it painful for him to move his back legs.
Bentley has always been a happy, energetic dog who loves to play and bring joy to everyone around him. Seeing him struggle like this has been heartbreaking. The vet recommended an MRI to get a clear picture of what’s going on, and surgery may be needed to help him walk again. The costs for these procedures, along with medications and possible therapy, are more than I can manage on my own.
The funds raised will go directly toward Bentley’s MRI and surgery. Anything left over will help cover his medications and therapy if needed, so he can have the best chance at recovery. I want to thank everyone who can help and support us—no matter the amount, every bit helps and means so much to us. Your kindness will make a real difference for Bentley.
