Bentley has been by my side since he was just four weeks old, and now, at seven years old, he’s not just my service dog—he’s my lifeline. Bentley is trained as a cardiac alert dog and provides emotional support, helping me navigate daily life and medical challenges. His presence gives me independence and peace of mind, and everyone who meets him instantly falls in love with his gentle spirit.

Recently, while out running and enjoying being a dog, Bentley returned unable to bear weight on his back leg. This injury has made it impossible for him to perform his daily tasks, leaving both of us struggling. The surgery he needs will start him on a six-month journey to recovery, giving him the chance to heal and return to the work that means so much to both of us.
