Help Bentley Recover from Vicious Attack

Donation protected
Bentley has been my grandpas best friend for years. He is the biggest baby and demands to be held like one throughout the house. He demands steak on his birthday and dresses up on special occasions. He really brought my grandfather out of his shell.
Three weeks ago he was viciously attacked by the neighbors two German shepherds in his own backyard. He barely made it. He is one hell of a fighter. He is able to walk a little and whine but he is in compression garments from neck to feet. They almost decapitated him. He had major surgery to save his life, the vets did not think he would make it and his little self proved them wrong.
There was no good news until last week. His neck, privates, and behind were completely torn apart. He’s been to the vet hospital every two days and he will continue to be.
He is terrified of everything all over again. He won’t go outside, he’s scared of noise.
It’s truly up in the air how his recovery will be. But he’s got the most patient and loving parents (my grandparents).
The neighbors dogs came under the fence onto our property and tore him up. The neighbors are trying to say Bentley went into their yard. The blood and fur and skin was all in our yard and very much so. Bentley wouldn’t have been able to fight off two 200 pound dogs and then drag himself under the fence and onto the porch for safety. The husband in the house next door wasn’t cooperative and my grandma has to beg her way into the house to make the man show his dogs medical records and he kept saying his printer wasn’t working and that she’d have to take a pic of his computer. So the vets did the detective work and contacted his vet and those dogs haven’t had a rabies shot in two years.
You can’t even get your dog groomed without a rabies shot.
So my grandma went back over there and got the wife. The wife is a lot more sympathetic and gave my grandma all of her contact information. She’s saying she’s going to help with the vet bills but we are going to see about that. They have been avoidant since. Animal control was called and they were cited for off leash something and failed to report on the lack of rabies shot.
We are contacting attorneys to see what we can do and the vet is working with us. ALL of the donations will be used for Bentleys Vet bills and Legal Services
