Meet Bentley! Bentley is a youthful 7-year-old Pomeranian, and over the last couple of months, has come to face the most unexpected health challenges. He needs life-saving surgery & treatment. "Bentley is the sweetest most kind and gentle creature who has graced this planet. His main purpose is to bring joy to the world, and he does just that, one person at a time, by bringing smiles to the faces of passersby and high fives to anyone who will kneel down to his honorable level. Bentley is a 7 year-old Pomeranian who was diagnosed with Stone Disease and Chronic Kidney Disease last month after his owner noticed unusual behavior of going to the bathroom in the house, and a dimmed spirit. This genetic disease causes Bentley to produce kidney stones that then pass through his micro size body causing immense pain and irreversible damage to his kidneys. Thankfully Bentley has been under the care of kidney specialists in San Diego but has continued to have complications requiring weekly expensive testing and procedures. As of this week, despite all efforts from the medical team and his owner, Bentley will need emergency surgery to remove two stones that joined together creating a blockage. During this life saving surgery, Bentley will have the numerous stones removed from his bladder to give him a fighting chance to continue bringing joy to this world. All money raised will go to pay for the previous care, surgery, and continued weekly specialized care this sweet boy deserves. -Olivia "
