UPDATE!
First. We would like to thank everyone who has donated. We have been randomly bursting into tears because of the love and support that all of you have shown. We could not be more grateful.
We have a surgery date guys! Bentley is scheduled for March 17th!!!
A lot of people have also shared different pet hospitals that work on sliding scales and THANK YOU for that. However, Bentleys tumor is right next to his jugular and the vet will be trying to peel the tumor off layer by layer. Dr Josh has been our family vet for more than 20 years and has operated successfully on our other pets over the years. For a situation like this we really want to utilize a doctor that not only is as emotionally connected to our sweet boy, but also is truly an amazing surgeon.

Bentley has been with our family for 10 and a half years, ever since we rescued him from the ASPCA when he was just 5 months old. He is our first cat, and he completely changed how we feel about cats. Because of Bentley, we have since adopted three more cats into our family. We never thought we’d be cat people, but Bentley’s loving and playful nature won us over from the very beginning. He’s become such an important part of our family, always ready to curl up in our laps or greet new friends with his loud, joyful purrs. Anyone who meets him can’t help but fall in love with his sweet personality.
Recently, Bentley was diagnosed with a tumor on his neck. It appeared less than a month ago and has been growing rapidly. The vet says it needs to be removed immediately to give him the best chance at a healthy future. The news was heartbreaking, and the urgency of his situation has made things even more stressful for our family.
The funds raised here will go directly toward Bentley’s surgery, as well as the anticipated costs of his recovery, medication, and any rehabilitation he might need. We’re reaching out to friends, family, and kind strangers because Bentley means the world to us. He’s the most beautiful, loving, cuddly cat you’ll ever meet—he LOVES to love. Whenever he meets someone new, he’ll hop in their lap and start purring so loud you’d think an engine was nearby.
