Help Bentley Get Essential Medical Equipment

Hello everyone my name is Amberly Couch, my son Bentley was diagnosed at the age of 4 with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and our journey has not been anything short of hard and heavy. Bentley in the past year has lost his ability to walk, sit up, even roll over without someone’s assistance. Bentley has been so strong through all of this but has suffered from some anxiety through this process. I met a wonderful woman on Facebook who has a hospital bed with a remote with a gravity mattress and self alternating pressure mattress which would be such a huge help to Bentley. Bentley has to ask for assistance in sitting up many times a day. Bentley also receives a weekly infusion through a port in his chest that requires him to have to sit up to be able to have it accessed and this would help the nurse be able to make the process as smoothe for him as possible! There is also a medical space chair that would be helpful for him while playing video games, watching movies, allowing him to spend time outside of his bedroom daily! It reclines, has a table for eating and activities so he feels more apart of his family! Bentley has lost a lot and as a mother I just want to give him the best I can. This equipment unfortunately Medicaid doesn’t pay for they only pay for standard and in his condition he needs more than that at this point. He lives in pain everyday and I want to lessen that and help him as much as I can. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your amazing generous donations!
