Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

I want to share the story of my little brother Bentley, who is fighting a condition called immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP). This condition has made life extremely difficult for Bentley, his twin sister Kylie, and my Dad, not just medically but also mentally and financially- but we believe that with your loving support, we can make a significant difference in his fight against this debilitating and unpredictable disease of the blood.

Due to the unpredictable nature of Bentley's condition, and the limited effectiveness of traditional treatments, new medical and holistic therapies are now readily available as the financial support from all of you helps Bentley. The available helpful solutions that can allow Bentley to have less side effects from the medications he is currently taking are hopefully going to be available as soon as donations start coming in. Unfortunately these therapies are not covered by my Dad's insurance, leaving the family with considerable financial issues. We need to raise these funds to help Bentley be able to have a better quality of life. I will say that before taking this first step of trying to somehow, someway figure out a way to help my little brother to get some of the new treatments offered, well let's just say I knew I would have to have a talk with my Dad before I actually took to crowdfunding to try and help my little brother. My Dad was very thankful that I had thought of doing a gofundme page for Bentley and He said that this would be a true blessing for our little man. Not only getting him new therapies offered and being able to hopefully get him feeling better, but help him and his quality of life as well. When Bentley is having good days he enjoys watching his favorite Sports Game, Playing his PS5 and watching his favorite YouTuber. Our family also likes to get together and spend time with each other when everyone is feeling well and we can make the time to get together and enjoy a good meal.

My dad who was working 3 jobs up until a few months ago but now dedicates his time and energy to taking care of Bentley, his twin sister Kylie, & also helps our grandmother GiGi in his spare time. I honestly know how my Dad does it all, he does everything with Gods help and he isn't afraid to proclaim Jesus name to the masses either. So with that being said- Bentley and the blood condition, along with the side effects from the medications, have made it difficult for Bentley to maintain stable platelet levels all the time. If his platelets drop below 20,000, he requires immediate hospitalization which is the only way to prevent him from becoming more unstable. This constant unknown and stress make every day a challenge for our family but mostly for my little brother and of course my Dad.

With this GoFundMe campaign, our goal is to raise funds that will directly contribute to Bentley's therapy and provide much-needed financial relief for my father and my twin sister Kylie, who shares some of the same worries and understands what they are all going through way to well because she is right in the middle of it. Bentley's life-sustaining medicine called Promacta, costs over $16,000 per month and is covered by insurance praise God, however the other therapy, new holistic and medical options, traveling and lodging expenses, and along with my Dad's households other fixed bills i'm almost sure it leaves a single Dad (not by choice) and twins that are 12 not much to have left over extra at the end of the month, yet at the end of the day, not to mention why I came to gofundme in the first place. It was to help raise funds for my little brother Bentley and that is what my goal is.

We humbly ask for your support and generosity. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference in Bentley's life. Your donation will give my little brother the opportunity to receive the best treatments available and offer hope for an improved condition. It will also provide my Dad and their family with some peace and a time to try to relax and regroup, relieving my Dad hopefully of some financial stress and allowing him to focus on Bentley's therapeutic care, the family unit, and being able to take a time to give thanks for all of the blessings that they will be receiving through this campaign to raise funds for Bentley's cause.

We firmly believe that together we can make a positive impact on Bentley's life, helping him overcome the obstacles he faces daily due to this unwanted, caused by a virus, no cure in sight, sometimes manageable with harsh medicine, disease of the blood .
