Benson is my special 1.5-year-old orange and white long hair kitten, and he means the world to me. He has a twin brother who is already missing him so much. Earlier this week, Benson accidentally ate a few fabric hair ties. He managed to throw up a few pieces on Tuesday, but since then, he hasn’t eaten for three days. He’s declining rapidly and is now vomiting bile. The vet has told me that surgery is the only option left to save his life.

I’ve tried everything I can think of—I was denied the credit line the clinic offers, and they won’t accept any other form of payment plan. I’ve called almost every place within 150 miles, including shelters and colleges, hoping someone could help Benson, but I’ve had no luck. It’s heartbreaking to see how little support there is for animals and their people in times like this.
