Help Benny's Wife Marsha Get Urgent Health Care

Benny Zable and Marsha Silvestri first met in NYC in 2015. From opposite ends of the planet they found each other, a perfect match that sparked a magical love story, becoming true love partners in work, play, dance, romance, socially, spiritually, compatibility on every level. Both environmental and peace activists, they complemented each other as a beautiful team. They blissfully married in 2017, and expected to share the rest of their life happily together. Problems began when Benny, an Australian citizen, had to return to AU to attend to urgent matters, and since then has been denied return entry to the USA to be with her four times by US immigration. Why? Because they were married! As ironic and unbelievable as it sounds, their marriage was the main cause for the denials. Their challenge and story is too long to tell here. What this fundraiser is about is Marsha's very dire health crisis and plea for help.

 

 

 

 

On December 1 2021, after months of being neglected by the mainstream medical system, Marsha was given an advanced cancer diagnosis. She's in very serious condition, a fast aggressive cancer that seems to worsen every day, and needs urgent care. Marsha does not believe in mainstream western medicine treatments of cancer (invasive surgery, chemo or radiation). She tragically watched her father die from chemo and radiation, and vowed to never do that to herself. She believes in, and has followed natural medicine much of her life, which helped her survive many health challenges that she truly believes she would not be alive today had she followed the allopathic route.

 

The entire mainstream medical model taught in US med schools is based on profit over people. The corruption throughout the system favors and only allows the most expensive and invasive treatments. Anything natural or non-invasive that Pharma cannot patent and control has been either banned, outlawed, or is extremely difficult to access unless you have lots of money.

 

She managed to stay quite healthy over the last 35 years by living a pure balanced lifestyle – until Covid struck. The first few months of the pandemic she was unable to find work, so without an income began eating fewer organic, healthy foods. Emotionally she became depressed over the lockdowns, unable to connect with her circles of friends, family, loved ones, spiritual and art communities and uplifting activities with everything restricted and closed. They even closed public parks, beaches and gardens, so being out in nature was prohibited. She was also depressed and angry over the US immigration system that denied her and Benny from being together.

 

Around May of 2020, desperate to support herself, she took the only job she could find, working for a local tavern/restaurant for minimum wage, no tips. With indoor dining closed, it began as an easy delivery job. They only offered drinks at the bar, takeout food and deliveries. When outdoor dining opened up, her hours and tasks increased. She suffered some serious injuries at the job that stopped her from doing regular workouts or yoga. But she kept pressing on. The work hours and stress level increased to 7–9 hours, 7 nights a week washing hundreds of glasses by hand, cuts from broken glass, lifting heavy cases of soda and water, running up and down 2 flights of stairs carrying stacks of plates, buckets of glasses, changing giant trash bins, moving and stacking heavy chairs and tables, nonstop confusion, solving errors, running out of supplies, not a moment to take a break or sit down for 8 hours straight…

 

Being highly chemically sensitive, she was poisoned with severe allergic reactions about a dozen times from toxic materials they use throughout the restaurant and delivery van, Fabuloso, Lysol, bleach, Raid and others. She was also eating junk she never or rarely ate, deep fried foods, pasta, tons of dairy, cakes, ice cream, sugary muffins, coffee to stay awake, nothing organic or healthy on the menu. Getting home at 2:am exhausted, famished, eating, then staying up until 4 or 5:am to digest, not getting proper sleep, not working out, meditating, or spending time in nature as she always had to stay balanced. She was also carrying a cellphone in her waist bag, hanging directly over the bladder area, which the EMF / wifi energy may have contributed to the cancer. She rarely carried a cellphone before this job. In November 2020 she came down with Covid, stayed home, self-treated with herbs and supplements, and fully recovered in about 10 days.

Returning to work the high stress imbalanced lifestyle continued and increased another year through most of 2021. Every night at work, she would think “This job is killing me!” or “I don't think I can last another day!”, but was too drained to seek better work.

 

2020–2021 presented other personal challenges. She lost several loved ones including her oldest dearest childhood friend since age 4, her cousin + several long-time friends to illnesses like cancer, strokes, heart attacks, blood clots, ALS, (but none to covid). Her main wish and dream for the past 4 years has been to be reunited with Benny. Now her priority goal is to heal and survive this disease (+ be with Benny again). As she faces the most difficult challenge of her life, her future is uncertain.

 

There are 2 clinics in Mexico she is considering: Hope4Cancer, and the Gerson Center. Each one offers top notch alternative cancer treatment, but comes at a very high price.
