Hey everyone, my name is Nia, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart </3

My 2-year-old Yorkie, Benny Boy, is currently in the hospital fighting for his life. He’s been diagnosed with kidney failure, and now they suspect pancreatitis as well. This all happened so fast—one minute he was his usual playful self, and the next, he’s just not himself.

Benny isn’t just my dog—he’s my best friend, my little shadow, my emotional support. He’s been there for me through everything. Anyone who’s met him knows how special his spirit is. He’s got this energy that makes people smile, and a heart full of love. Seeing him suffer like this has absolutely broken me.

In just the last 4 days, I’ve spent over $10,000 out of pocket to cover Benny’s emergency care—hospitalization, bloodwork, IV fluids, medications, and multiple vet visits; and I would do it again without hesitation. But the truth is… the road ahead might be long and I’m running out of resources. I’m afraid I might not be able to afford the treatments that could save his life.

I’m not used to doing this, it feels weird... I don’t like asking for anything, but for him, here I am.
