Benji is more than just a pet—he’s truly a member of our family. At only 4 years old, he fills our days with light and joy, and we can’t imagine life without him. Recently, Benji suffered a sudden back injury that, if left untreated, would have led to paraplegia. We rushed him to the emergency room, where doctors determined he needed urgent back surgery to repair herniated discs.

While in the ER, Benji developed pneumonia, which has made his recovery even more challenging. He now has to stay in the hospital longer and requires more intensive care than we ever expected. The emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming, but we are determined to do everything we can to give Benji the best chance at a full recovery.
