Benji is my four-year-old dog, and I just officially adopted him three days ago. He’s the sweetest boy, and after waiting over a year to find a home, he finally became part of my family. Sadly, just after settling in, Benji became suddenly sick—even though he was eating just fine the day before. It’s been heartbreaking to see him go through this so soon after coming home.

This has come at an especially difficult time for me. In the last two weeks, I’ve experienced pregnancy loss and hospitalization, and now I’m facing the challenge of making sure Benji gets the care he needs. The funds from this fundraiser will pay for Benji’s initial treatment, giving me time to pay the rest of his medical expenses and make sure he gets the best chance at a happy, healthy life.
