Help Benji Get a Much-Needed Walk-In Tub

My name is Patricia and 35 years ago, I was blessed with the birth of my son Benji. Benji was born with Cerebral Palsy and through all the ups and downs that parents face having a special needs child, I never thought much about what problems we would face as we got older. My husband just turned 70 and I'm about to be 59. Through all the years of taking care of our son, lifting him in and out of the bathtub and helping him in his wheelchair has taken a toll on my knees. I recently had surgery on my left knee and am facing knee replacement surgery on both knees in the future. We are in desperate need of a walk-in tub for him. We live in a patio home and have been told by numerous contractors they will have to remove part of the wall to get the walk-in tub into the bathroom.

After applying for assistance from multiple organizations with no success, it was suggested that I start a GoFundMe to see if the community could help us in raising the funds needed to get this done.
