Help Save Benji — My Best Friend of 14 Years

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out because my dog Benji, my best friend since I was 10 years old, is going through a serious medical emergency and I need help.

I got Benji when he was just 5 months old, and now he’s about to turn 15 this September. He’s been by my side through everything—growing up, tough times, and some of my happiest moments. Benji is also a loving family dog who brings so much joy, comfort, and energy to everyone around him. He’s not just a pet to me, he’s truly family.

Recently, Benji was diagnosed with testicular cancer and has started showing alarming symptoms, including a seizure and loss of appetite. We rushed him to the vet, where he received fluids and medication, and after running tests, the doctors believe he is still strong enough for surgery based on his blood work, vitals, and overall condition. This gives us hope, but he still needs further treatment to give him the best chance possible.

The vet bills are already adding up to around $5,000, and that’s more than I can handle on my own right now.

I’m doing everything I can to keep him comfortable, hydrated, and eating, but he needs more care than I can afford without help. Benji is still fighting, and I just want to give him the chance he deserves after giving me a lifetime of love.
