On the 15th April 2023 we found out some heartbreaking news, our little man Benji has lymphoma cancer. Many of you know James, my partner in crime has been dealing with lymphoma over the last 7 months and then to find out Benji has got the exact same cancer is just beyond devastating. Life can be so cruel. Benji is our rescue baby and has already been through so much, poor boy was abandoned twice. The day we went to pick him up from Battersea Dogs Home changed our lives and his for the better. He was nearly 5 when we rescued him and we thought we’d have maybe 10 years with him. He’s only 8 1/2 years old and has been diagnosed with this awful disease.

Benji is the most unique, funny, beautiful little guy we’ve ever met. He makes us laugh every single day and the idea that he might not be here anymore is beyond heartbreaking. We’ve loved him from the moment we met him and we want to keep him alive, pain free and comfortable for as long as we can. The vet referred us yesterday to a vet oncologist so we can go through all our options and help Benji fight this cancer. He estimated it is going to cost up to £6,000.
