For those of you who know me, know how much Benji means to me. She was my birthday gift & I've had her since she was 2.5 months old. Recently, I was petting her belly and felt 2 lumps and I took her to the vet to get checked up. Everything has been happening so fast and next thing you know she’s diagnosed with breast cancer. Since finding out, I've been going back and forth deciding what I should do because the prices of check ups, follow ups & procedures are costly, even with insurance. Especially in New York. Right now, we’re doing everything we can to make her comfortable as possible because breast cancer in female cats are aggressive. I want to remove the tumors I found because the biggest one is on her lymph node & it will prevent the cancer from spreading. Her surgery is scheduled May 7th.
