Benji is my incredible, loving Beagle mix. He’s 8 years old, and we’ve had him since he was just 8 weeks old. He’s nothing but love, and I would do anything to save him and help him live the rest of his years cancer free.

A few weeks ago, I noticed Benji was bleeding from his gums. After a visit to the vet, we learned he had an aggressive form of cancer called oral papillary squamous cell carcinoma. The specialist confirmed the diagnosis after a biopsy, and Benji underwent surgery to remove the cancer. Part of his jaw and all of his upper teeth were removed, but unfortunately, the results showed there is still cancer left. Now, Benji needs more imaging, another biopsy, and another surgery to try to remove the remaining cancer.
