Help Benji and his family

The holidays are a time for family, friends, laughter and joy.

this year, that will be hard if not impossible for our family.

On December 4th, Benji Teston was admitted to Memorial Health University Hospital

with acute organ failure. He walked into the hospital nauseous, exhausted and holding extra fluid in his legs and abdomen.

After extensive bloodwork, x rays and CT scans, they realized his kidneys and liver were not functioning.

Benji's health continued to decline throughout the week. He stopped eating, started sleeping more and stopped responding to questions, statements and eventually even touches. The doctors talked to the family and started to prepare us for the worst if they didn't see improvement soon. Today, the doctor explained to family that they did not expect his health to improve and recommended palliative care. They delivered equipment to his home where they will take him to spend the rest of his worldly life.

As the end is nearing for him, we are trying raise money to help with family travel, funeral expenses and medical bills. Please consider donating, any amount will be greatly appreciated. Benji is a husband, son, father, step-father,  grandfather, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend and so much more. To know him is to love him and so many people do. We understand everyone cannot donate, if that is the case for you, please just say a prayer for his family and friends to find peace and comfort in the coming days.

Update

Benji joined our Heavenly Father Tuesday night, December 12. He was surrounded by his loving family. We all will miss him so much. Thank you to everyone that has donated. We will keep this page active for a few weeks for those of you who would still like to make a donation.
