It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that I, Benjamin Ameh, write on behalf of my family to share the devastating loss of my beloved wife, Mrs Peace Safiya Benjamin, who passed away here in the UK on 8th September 2026 following complications after brain surgery and pneumonia.
Peace was not only my wife; she was my best friend, my companion, my source of strength, and the heart of our family. She brought warmth, kindness, laughter, and love wherever she went. The beautiful photograph above captures one of the precious moments we shared together—a memory I will treasure for the rest of my life.
Her passing has left us facing an emptiness that words cannot adequately describe. We are grieving the loss of a dearly loved wife, mother, family member, and friend. At this painful moment, we are also confronted with the considerable financial responsibility of arranging her funeral and giving her the dignified farewell she deserves.
We need your support
We are humbly asking our family, friends, church communities, colleagues, and kind-hearted people everywhere to stand with us during this incredibly difficult time.
The cost of funeral arrangements and related family expenses is overwhelming. We are doing everything possible, but we cannot manage this burden alone while dealing with the shock and grief of losing Peace.
Your donation will help us to:
Cover funeral home and funeral service costs.
Pay for burial arrangements.
Support transportation and essential funeral logistics.
Provide memorial and tribute materials.
Meet urgent family expenses during this period of bereavement.
Every donation, regardless of size, will make a meaningful difference. A contribution of £10, £20, £50, or any amount you can afford will help us move closer to giving Peace the loving and dignified farewell she deserves.
If you are unable to donate, please support us by sharing this campaign with your family, friends, church, colleagues, and social-media contacts. A simple share may help this appeal reach someone who is able to assist.
During this darkest moment of our lives, your prayers, kindness, encouragement, and financial support will mean more to us than we can express. Thank you for helping us honour Peace's life and memory.
May God bless you and your family abundantly for standing with us.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Benjamin Ameh and Family
