Help Benjamin Attend Harmony University

Hi, neighbor! Hi, neighbor! Whaddya know, and whaddya say?

My name is Benjamin Ziek. About 3 1/2 years ago, I started on a musical journey into the wonderful world of barbershop harmony singing. I am a part of the Pasadena Crown City Chorus and the Valley Harmony Singers. I have also been a part of three barbershop quartets: The BADJers Four, Canes & Ables, and Fermata the Blue.

I have experienced and learned a lot on my journey thus far, but there are a lot of inner workings and technicalities involved with barbershop harmony that go beyond mere singing, and I would like to learn and experience as much as I can. This is why I am thrilled that the Barbershop Harmony Society offers an annual, week-long event called Harmony University. Treated just like a school curriculum, HU has classes on all aspects of barbershop, from arranging music, to directing, to enhancing performance, and more!

I am looking to raise $1,550. This would cover the cost of registration and my housing on campus at the University of Denver, where this year's HU is being held. Transportation I can take care of myself.

The mission of the Barbershop Harmony Society is: to bring people together in harmony and fellowship to enrich lives through singing. Right now, I'm asking you to come together with your donations to assist me in furthering my journey.
