Help Beni Live and Thrive!

This sweet little boy’s future depends on us!

I am raising funds for Beni, a wonderful 5-year-old boy from Hungary who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) in December 2023. This devastating disease causes muscle cells to deteriorate and be replaced by fatty tissue, leading to progressive weakness. Once a muscle cell is lost, it’s gone forever.

As the disease progresses, it doesn’t just affect movement—it can also impact the heart and breathing muscles, leading to severe, life-threatening complications. Without treatment, Beni will be in a wheelchair within a few years, facing frequent chest infections and a shortened life expectancy.

But there is hope!

A life-changing gene therapy is now available in the USA—the only treatment that can slow down this cruel disease. However, time is critical. Every day without treatment means more irreversible muscle loss, and Beni will have to live with the consequences for the rest of his life. His family is racing against time!

Why We Need Your Help

Beni is blessed with incredible, determined parents who have already raised half the funds for this treatment. But the total cost is a staggering $2.9 million, and there is no healthcare funding or insurance to cover it—his family must raise the money themselves.

When I learned about Beni’s story and saw the video of this brave little boy, I felt an instant connection. As a doctor living and working in the UK, I couldn’t accept that a proven, effective treatment exists—yet Beni might not get it simply because of money.

How You Can Help

They say there is enough money in the world—however, it looks like it’s not always in the right place. But together, we can change that!

And this is what I am asking from you! If we come together and reach 2000 people who donate £50 each, we can contribute £ 100,000 to the cost.
