Help Bengly Escape De-transitioning & Move Somewhere Safe

Hi everyone, my name is Bengly Anderson, and I am a 25-year-old, transgender small business owner and illustrator in a dire situation and need financial help.

Recently, my life has been turned upside down for me. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I was kicked out of my former partner's apartment and forced to return and live at my extremely transphobic and homophobic parents' house.

Besides the constant misgendering and deadnaming, I was recently sat down by my parents and told that I needed to return to being a woman, grow out my hair, and start looking into dating men, or they WILL stop housing me.

As someone who is actively taking HRT (hormone replacement therapy) and is getting top surgery later this year, I will most likely be forced out of my parent’s place and become homeless. This is a very dangerous situation for me, and as someone who wants to live their truth, it is heartbreaking and traumatizing that I am dealing with this.

I depend on my small business and freelance illustration job for financial help, but even then, a large portion of the money goes back into my business and fighting off credit card bills. With this GoFundMe campaign, I can have the funds all in one place without worrying about my bills absorbing it.

I am talking to friends who have connected me to a roommate in Seattle, WA. We are looking at low-income housing and have discussed what the costs may look like.

Total cost: $8952 --> $9000 for a rounded-out number

Any extra funding will be used for other apartment or necessities costs.

Note: I have implemented four months of rent to the campaign so I can ensure that I have enough cushion to settle into the apartment, not stress about starting my work immediately, and focus on prioritizing escaping my situation.

I know this is a lot to ask, but I cannot express how dire my situation is, and the stress of this whole situation has been affecting me both physically and mentally. Anything helps, and I thank you for taking the time to read this.
