Help Bengi with his Broken Back

Hi everyone, I’m Karla. I have been living in South Kuta in Bali for about three months now with my partner Lucas. There are so many dogs in desperate conditions here. We pass dozens of helpless, homeless, mangeridden, emaciated dogs in a day, and we decided to STOP witnessing and start helping. We partnered up with a veterinarian who is helping us catch the worst ones and assist them.

The one baby boy we successfully caught today after feeding and injecting sedatives, has a severely broken back. He was dragging himself on the street, starving and full of fleas, mange, and maybe other fungal infections.

We’ve never witnessed anything like this. He looked like something out of a horror movie and it brought tears to our eyes.

Although WE decided, with the help of the amazing people at Kedonganan Veterinary, that we wanted to help him, we would also appreciate help from you. Even if you can donate the cost of a Starbucks drink to help cover the costs of his medical bills, we would appreciate. 

This will not be the last dog, as we’ve decided to help any who are suffering. But poor Benji is in severely bad shape.
