Benelli is a healthy, loving 10-year-old German Shepherd who has been a loyal service dog and companion to our family. Benelli has swallowed a sock that is now lodged in her GI tract. For four days, she has been vomiting and, heartbreakingly, she aspirated into her lungs, leading to pneumonia.
