Help Brandon Attend Interlochen This Summer

Hello family, friends, and the internet! I recently got accepted to attend Interlochen Center for the Arts Orchestra Arts Camp this summer. Interlochen is a highly intensive yet rewarding summer experience that can help me bring my playing to the next level. Being Interlochen admissions are highly competitive, we felt no choice but to accept this offer, as it's a rare and incredible opportunity.
I will be pursuing a degree in Music Performance in college (college TBD). The skills I can improve and the connections I can make at Interlochen can set me up for not only a competitive edge in my college, but even reaching forward and establishing foundations for a career.
I specifically have been accepted into the Interlochen Orchestra and Wind Ensemble Summer Program. A 6-week program where my days will consist of:
- Large ensemble rehearsal, leading to six unique public performances throughout the summer
- Chamber music class which includes small ensemble rehearsal and coaching, student performances, special topics, master classes, and faculty performances
- Weekly private lessons with faculty members, many of whom hold advanced degrees in music, teach at the college level, and/or perform in professional symphony orchestras
- Studio classes
- Musician Artistry (music theory and literature, aural skills, improvisation)
The challenge: Interlochen comes at a high price. Even with the scholarship I have received (and after a $1000 deposit), my family and I still owe $4600. With a brother in college, and myself about to enter, this cost comes as a huge financial burden to my family. With your help relieving this burden, I can attend Interlochen this summer without worrying about the financial strain it brings with it.
