On April 23rd, I found out that I have Stage 1 lung cancer. The good news is that they have caught it early, and we are doing all we can to get this under control. The bad news is the cost of healthcare. Every time I see a doctor, my copay is $40. I have to pay 20% for all tests and procedures. I am waiting to find out how much I owe for the biopsy done on April 21st. I know the bills will keep piling up, and I am going to need help.
