Help Ben Stallard re-stock Scout Gear after the House Fire
Donation protected
One of Troop 75's beloved Scouts, Ben Stallard, and his family lost their home on the morning of February 12th.
They were home during the snow storm and it was late at night and luckily Ben's father, Dave, smelled something and the family was able to get out and call the Fire Dept right away. We are so glad everyone and their pets got out safely!!!
While the Fire Dept did a great job, it took 45 minutes for them to get to the house because of weather and road conditions. To make matters worse, the family had to watch as the house burned down with all of their belongings in it. Their neighbors were able to take them in for the night and their cousin's, Davison Lindsay's family, have been able to take them in since to offer their support.
While Dave said, 'it is only stuff' they lost in the fire, obviously that stuff had a lot of meaning to them.
As you all know, Ben is an amazing young man and is a true model of the Scout Oath and Law. He comes from a truly wonderful family with great parents, Dave and Susie, and a beautiful little sister, Lindsay.
We would like to offer them some support and help get Ben re-stocked with his scouting needs. So we have started this GoFundMe specifically for that purpose, to see if members of Troop 75 would donate towards the purchase of new scouting clothes, patches, and gear that Ben lost in the fire.
There is also a GoFundMe for general family needs if you would like to donate there: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-stallard-family-after-house-loss/cl/s?attribution_id=sl:cf92ac58-5a99-49a0-914a-fdb8dd938fb5&lang=en_US&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_content=amp10_t1-amp13_c-amp14_t1&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link
We know the Stallard's will truly appreciate any help you can provide.
