T.Boyles Tavern is a 100% family owned and operated local bar that less than 1 year ago (pre-COVID) was voted Best Sports Bar in Pasadena, CA. Now, due to LA County restrictions during the pandemic, they are struggling to make ends meet and need your support to weather the storm.
My relationship to the bar is with the main owner and operator....Let me tell you about him.
Family friends for a lifetime and the brother I never had. That is a quick summary of my relationship with Ben.
He is the sort of guy that will go out of his way to lend a hand or assistance of any kind. He is a hard-working, determined, and compassionate individual that saved his earnings for years in order to invest in his dream of owning a bar.
The timing was more than imperfect as COVID took over the county less than a year after taking control of the bar. Ben and his partner Wes worked very hard to make a presence for the bar including social media outlets and other mechanisms to advertise the business. They re-designed the menu, completely remodeled the kitchen, and created a whole new look and feel to the bar.
They both invested a majority of their savings as well as all their time into this venture in the past two years. The business had a ton of positive momentum towards success prior to this pandemic.
Let's help them get over the hump and minimize some of the financial impact pertaining to the extended shutdown. They deserve to see this dream out to fruition.
