On December 21, 2025, tragedy struck when a fire broke out in the barn at Ben and Kayla’s home. The flames quickly spread to the sheds and then to the house itself, leaving their home a total loss. In a matter of hours, Ben, Kayla, and their seven children lost everything they owned. Thankfully, all of the family members and their animals made it out safely, but the devastation has left them without a place to call home and without any of their belongings.

The days since the fire have been overwhelming as Ben and Kayla work to find temporary lodging and replace the essentials for their large family. With insurance support still pending, they are facing immediate expenses for daily needs, clothing, and a safe place to stay. The loss of their home just before the holidays has made this time especially difficult, but the family is doing their best to stay strong for each other.
