Help Ben Heaberlin Heal After Traumatic Injury
Donation protected
Our dear friend, Ben Heaberlin suffered a serious accident on Dec 22nd 2024 while investigating a roof leak on his home in Winslow Maine. He took a major spill and was subsequently life flighted to Maine Medical Center. He sustained a traumatic brain injury, that required a cranietomy to relieve pressure from more than one significant brain bleed. Ben has since been in the ICU undergoing constant care and evaluation. As of right now, 12/27/2024, all things considered he is doing quite well. He is able to recognize loved ones and express basic needs but the future is still unclear for this great guy. What is clear, is that his road to recovery will not be short or easy. He will be out of work for a indeterminate amount of time while healing. Ben is a strong, funny, handsome man in many people's lives. Him and his partner Trish have 2 boys, he is a dedicated postal worker and all around stand up member of his community. Ben and his family need all the support they can get. All funds raised will go directly towards medical bills and living expenses during his recovery. We all know how expensive life is right now and this initial $25,000 goal most likely isn't anywhere near enough so it would mean a great deal to Ben, his family and friends, if you are able to donate.
I will post frequent updates on his condition/recovery! Thank you soo much for your consideration
