Help Ben Get Back on His Feet After Heart Surgery

Ben is a 29-year-old husband and father of three young children. He is a wonderful father and husband, a dedicated volunteer at his church, and an avid musician. Ben is facing a difficult challenge. He was recently diagnosed with heart failure as a result of a congenital heart defect. He had open heart surgery on August 16th. The surgery went well and Ben's recovery is astonishing, thanks to many answered prayers. He still has a lot of hurdles to overcome before he can return to work in approximately 12 weeks.

Ben is the sole financial provider for his family. He has no sick time left through his employer, and he does not qualify for short-term disability or unemployment. This means that he will have to rely on his savings and the generosity of others to cover the costs of his surgery and recovery.
