My name is Abi, and I am creating this GoFundMe to help my best friend get emergency car repairs done. As Ben was driving onto the highway on Sunday, the entire front driver's side wheel came off. He was able to inch his car off the road, but the bottom of his car scraped along the ground the entire way. Once he got out, he also saw a long trail of fluid leaking from under the car.

Ben recently had his tired swapped out, and the wrong lug nuts were used. Unfortunately, Ben also lost his job a few weeks ago when the brewery he was working at closed its doors.

Long story short, Ben needs help covering the cost of a new wheel. Once the new wheel is installed, the shop will attempt to discover what started leaking from underneath the car. The initial repair bill looks like this:

Labor costs: $309.91

Parts costs: $361.19

Tax: $38.19

Total due: $851.27

Additionally, the tow to the shop: $300

Total with tow: $1151.27

Once Ben can cover this initial fee, the estimate for fixing the leak will be added.
