Help Ben and Susan rebuild

As you’re most likely aware, a five-alarm fire destroyed our neighborhood's apartments at 35 Dean Street last week. Among those families displaced were Ben and Susan Hudgins (and their two cats), longtime residents of the neighborhood. After 13 years at that location, they lost almost everything in the blaze and now find themselves having to rebuild.

They have been loyal Sociale regulars for many years, as we first met at our original Northern Heights location before the pandemic. After our time away, they were among the first to rejoin us at our new space here in Cobble Hill. They also lent us and our beloved business a hand at a very critical moment during that move, so we are looking to lend them similar support in their time of need. Just as the neighborhood has embraced our business, we hope you will do the same for Ben and Susan.

One of our greatest joys in being here in Cobble Hill is the deep sense of community we all share, so please lend “The Hudgins” a helping hand. Much of what they lost is irreplaceable, but their bond with our neighborhood is made of tougher stuff.
