Phoebe and I planned a beautiful wedding for 10/10/2020 with the intention of celebrating with all of our close friends and family. Due to the pandemic, we were forced to cancel the wedding and get married in a much smaller (but still beautiful!) ceremony on the same day. We promised everyone that we would redo the ceremony at a later date, but with the financial hit we took from canceling the original wedding and the really alarmingly long pandemic, we were hesitant to start planning a new one. And then, to be honest, we sort of forgot. Now that I've been at my new job for a while and we've settled into our space in Corpus Christi, we're ready to commit to a new event and would love to have everyone celebrate with us.

We're planning to move out of Texas at the end of 2025, so we're aiming to hold the ceremony on 10/10/2025, our five-year anniversary, while we're still close to most of our friends and family. We will be renewing our vows and providing amazing food and drinks to all of our guests. The ceremony will be walking distance from downtown San Antonio, providing easy access to a number of hotels and great bars for the afterparty.

Because we're planning a major move shortly after the ceremony, we would love to have our guests contribute to its preparation rather than provide gifts. There is no expectation that guests contribute to funding the wedding (seriously!), but any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Our GoFundMe goal is set for half the cost of the ceremony. We intend to hold the ceremony whether we hit the goal or not, but any contributions help.
