I’m putting this together for my neighbor and good friend Ben. He recently had major colon surgery, and what was supposed to be a routine recovery turned into something much tougher. After spending 15 days in the hospital, he’s now facing about three months of recovery before he can return to work.

Ben and his wife, Brooklyn, are doing their best to hold things together for their two kids, but it’s tough when one income has to cover everything, medical bills, regular household expenses, and the costs of raising a family.
