Help Ben and Em in housing crisis

Hello everyone. I have found myself in a position of pride and not wanting to put this together. But alas, we must rely on our community and village. Benjamin and I were asked to leave our rental home in early April and we have technically been homeless for the last few weeks. Ben was able to secure a new job in Rhode Island and I have an offer. We sold everything we owned, packed our clothes and cats and left Louisiana. We have been living in hotels in New England while we wait on emergency assistance from the state of Massachusetts for housing help. We are to a point where we have to set down our pride and ask for help.

We need help from our community to help keep us housed until our emergency assistance is approved. Both Ben and I have been doing gig work to make it through this far. We never thought it would be us in this situation and it shows everyone is one emergency away from homelessness.

We know things will work out and we are trusting that God will make a way. If you’re able to help us in this time, we would be forever grateful and indebted to you.
