I'm Leeton, Belle’s favourite (and only) son.

Our family has me, 5 daughters (plus another adopted daughter!) and 8 amazing grandchildren.

The legacy of my mum and dad's beautiful love story of 33 years.

Belle is the oldest of 3 girls, being raised in Sydney beside her 2 sisters Leanne and Allison.

Mum has always been many things. She is a wife, a mum to many, a Bebe to her grandchildren, a daughter, a sister, an aunty, a niece, a cousin, a great mate and so much more.

In November 2023 our whole world was turned upside when we received the news that Mum has stage 4 small cell carcinoma (SCLC).

Instantly chemo and immunotherapy began, then in March of 2024 radiation therapy.

Immunotherapy continued until January 2025.

Like the champion she is, she grabbed this challenge with both fists and owned it.

She responded so well to treatment that her oncologist called her his star pupil!

But then the news came that it had metastasized to her liver.

Once more back into chemo, and things looked good until they weren't.

In July 2025 we were given the devastating news that her conventional treatment was no longer working.

Her only hope now was to be accepted into a clinical trial at a Sydney based hospital.

Mum has been sick since this trial started in August. She spent the first half of September in hospital due to the trial’s side effects making her severely ill.

As you could imagine, this has put a serious emotional, physical and financial burden on my entire family and particularly my dad, Rob.

Belle has always been the most caring, thoughtful and loving person. She’s never been afraid to help someone and has sacrificed so much lifting others up that I couldn’t imagine a better role model for my life. Now it’s our turn to lift her up.

Her kindness, compassion, and selflessness have touched so many lives, and with your help, we can make sure she feels that same love and care returned to her.

We would love to give Mum the gift of ticking off some bucket list moments and make the most of our time with her. A final chance to create lifelong memories that we can hold on to forever.
